Woork es un sillón realizado en corcho y madera.

Utilizamos roble FSC (Quercus Alba) y corcho (Quercus Suber). Los dos materiales provienen de la misma familia de árboles, Quercus, por esta razón combinan tan bien.

Sigue los mismos principios de la silla Corkigami, esta vez el corcho laminado se combina con chapas laminadas de madera tratando de conseguir lo mejor de cada material.

El proceso incluye la laminación de diferentes piezas (corcho y madera) que cortamos. Las piezas luego van cuidadosamente unidas, semejante a la fabricación de calzado. Toda la pieza se termina con un acabado resistente

Woork is a lounge chair made of wood and cork.

We use oak (Quercus Alba) and cork (Quercus Suber), both come from the same tree specie called Quercus and that is probably why they do combine so well.

It follows the same principles of Corkigami chair, this means the use of laminated cork and by mixing it with laminated wood veneer, we try to get the best out of each material.

The manufacturing process involves the laminationg of different pieces (cork and wood) which are cut to size and then carefully glued together. This resembles shoe making techniques. Hard wearing finishing coat will be applied to the whole thing.
